     Are you like me? For years I wanted to convert my home to solar energy, but the cost was way out of my price range. Not only that, even if I had the money, it was so expensive that it would take years to recover the cost of the installation with the savings I would realize.

      I didn't give up though. I kept researching and thinking there had to be a way. With the economy taking a nose dive, my finances were tighter than ever, so it seemed impossible, unless I could do it myself and build a panel as I had the time and money.

You won't believe what happened next! My brother got a sales job at a very successful company that built and installed, guess what? Solar panels! He asked his boss if it was possible for me to build my own solar panels and he said that it was and he could draw up the plans for me. That's when my rewarding journey into free solar energy began...
